Editors review each page and approve the photo, copy or layout elements of the page. These editorial approvals provide for a control mechanism that allows editors to restrict additional changes to pages that are deemed as "ready for print". Once all three elements of a page are approved, the page files can be sent instantly to the printing plant by simply marking the page as "published".
